Ramon Ang, a Philippine billionaire, got his first job after graduating from the Far Eastern University with a Bachelor of Engineering fixing and reselling second hand Japanese car and truck engines. His next venture was selling aluminum wheels, something he did with Eduardo Cojuangco, who has become a lifetime friend, and is also a billionaire.

In 1999 Ramon Ang was elected vice chairman of San Miguel Corporation (SMC). Though it started out, and is most widely known as a brewery, SMC also makes food, but the majority of its revenue actually comes the power and infrastructure industries. Three years later in 2002 he became the conglomerate’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Ramon is chairman of Cyber bay Corporation and Eagle Cement Corporation.
